Color of Love

Jake and Leslie were absolutely glowing on their wedding day!

Color Color Color! Every Groomsman in a different color tie-- The bridesmaids in this fresh spring green!

"Can you make it look like we gathered it up from the field?"

White Lisianthus, Yellow Billy Buttons and Solidago, Blue Euryngium and Misty blue, tied up in Bone white Grosgrain Ribbon

Yellow Button Mum, Blue Euryngium, green faux berries, and dotted Guinea fowl feathers, with a ribbon wrapped stem.

The bridesmaids carried bright bouquets of Sunflower, Orange Roses, Blue Euryngium, and Yellow Solidago

This wedding was a fun, challenging project. The Bride and Her mother had already decided that they wanted an ecclectic "From grandma's cupboard" look for the reception. So they all (and grandma :) began collecting vases and vintage bottles until they had over 100! Then Mom began sewing table cloths, toppers and runners. Then they gathered Grapevine from the farm and made loads of wreaths....then they realized this was going to be a huge undertaking... and called Me!

Every table was completely unique--I love the old medicine bottle, and re-purposed Orangina. Even the cakes came in 3 flavors and colors

We draped the Hay shelter at Devine's Farm in Danville with muslin, sinched up with Grosgrain ribbon and a little bundle of flowers. http://www.devinescornmaze.com/
(a beautiful spot!)

Love these little trios of Milk glass

The head table (background, below) had a rich orange tapestry-like cloth with cobalt blue vases and wrought iron lanterns

The Dance floor was delightful strewn with Yellow Tissue paper poms--made and hung by the family.

Loved this family, loved this location, loved this wedding !
